Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer who thrives on challenges within their field and shares our passion for working in Pharma and Life Science. You will be involved in renovating and building production facilities and utilities, primarily in the Pharma and Life Science sector. Responsibilities include project management, specification, documentation, implementation, supervision, and testing across all project phases.

About the Department

The Pharma and Life Science division at Artelia comprises over 100 employees across nine departments, with offices in Holbæk and Buddinge. You will join the 'Process & Mechanical - Pharma' department, working alongside 19 skilled colleagues committed to fostering a strong team spirit and continuous knowledge sharing through regular meetings, training, and trade shows.

Candidate Profile

Background in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Pharma and Life Science.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a WPO or Project Manager.
Experience with documentation such as PFD, P&IDs, component specifications, isometrics.
Experience with process and utility systems (CIP/SIP, nitrogen, compressed air, steam/pure steam, PW, WFI, etc.).
Good understanding of GMP requirements.
Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary projects.
Good communication skills in Danish and English.
Valid driver's license.

Main Tasks

Ownership of technical packages.
Specify and design process/utility systems.
Support customer decision-making.
Suggest process/utility system optimizations.
Manage projects of various sizes, from design to implementation.
Renovate process/utility systems.
Participate in FAT and SAT tests.
Update documentation collaboratively.
Analyze process/utility systems through line-walks, measurements, and consumption analysis.
