Job Summary:
The primary role of the Regional Sales Manager is to lead a team of inside sales representatives to meet all Altium business objectives and market growth plans.
Responsibilities:
Fully leverage data-driven systems and processes in pursuit of these goalsHelping customers discover the full value of long-term subscription commitments, auto-renewals, permanent customers, and Altium brand loyaltyProvide detailed, accurate weekly forecasts to senior management; analyze sales to take corrective action when neededOptimize regional and territory-based goals as part of the company sales planDevelop automated systems and processes that provide easy access to additional Altium products and services in collaboration with senior sales managementRecruit and develop a motivated, results-oriented sales team, and provide the coaching and training to support their success and retentionMaintain a thorough knowledge of competitive products and servicesBuild influential, productive relationships with Marketing, Sales Ops, Business Intel, and other internal teams to develop and achieve company targetsSales at Altium go beyond growth and targets, bringing transformative technologies to companies in clean energy, transport, medicine, science, and more.

Skills and ExperienceFluency in both German and English (C1/C2)The role requires a self-directed, resourceful, highly driven professional with a demonstrated record of using sales systems to exceed targets.
A college degree or relevant experience, with five or more years of sales leadership, is preferred.
Experience working directly with sales operations and other business unitsAble to operate in a high-volume transactional sales modelSalesforce expertise; can interpret, analyze, review, and comment in detail on the Salesforce Wave dashboardsKnows or can learn Marketo, SFDC Analytics Studio, and other data systemsA history of directly leading sales teams, raising their impact and influence through a collaborative approachStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to travel 20% of the timeGermany Benefits Calm App, mental health and wellbeing support?
