From early mornings, to late nights, to overnight charters you get it all!Our Flight Attendants' primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew while on duty.
This includes enforcing and following all standard operating procedures and compliance with all regulatory requirements set forth in training.
Proficient operation of emergency equipment such as oxygen systems, aircraft doors, fire extinguishers, galley equipment, communication equipment and lighting systems.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to manage uncomfortable situations while always maintaining the utmost professionalism.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform required work duties in an aircraft environmentDemonstrating and announcing safety briefings to passengersResponding to and communicating any onboard information to passengersConduct all interactions in a positive, customer-service focused approach when helping passengers and/or communicating with fellow team membersGuide or direct (verbally or non-verbally) passengers during emergency situations (such as evacuations) to minimize impact of the event and protect passengers and crew membersEnsure passengers' comfort and safety at all timesMust haves:
Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalentMust be a Canadian citizen or Permit ResidentMinimum 19 years of ageMust be able to pass a reach test of 210 cm from flat footRequired to possess and retain a valid Passport and able to fly into the United StatesMinimum 2 years' experience in customer serviceA strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communitiesEnthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that's through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes supportMust be a legally entitled to work in CanadaConditions of Employment:
We are committed to your success and will provide an elaborate 4-week Air North training programYou must be willing to relocate to Whitehorse, YukonYou will be required to be available for shifts scheduled 7 days a week, including weekends, evenings, early mornings, holidays, etc.
with a flexible schedule to allow for the dynamic aviation industry - all subject to last minute changes.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE POSITIONS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE IN WHITEHORSE.
SELECTED CANDIDATES MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE ON THEIR OWN.
RELOCATION AND TRAINING EXPENSES ARE NOT COMPENSATED.
