As part of the Workplace Team, this role is responsible for fostering a warm and welcoming environment while ensuring a comfortable and productive workspace for our team members.This key position plays a vital role in creating a positive workplace experience for both internal teams and external visitors.
Responsibilities include managing day-to-day office operations, greeting guests, performing administrative tasks, and supporting various teams with events and ad hoc projects.The ideal candidate is flexible, embraces a 'no task too big or too small' attitude, and brings positive energy and a professional demeanor to the role.Duties:
Oversee the front desk and reception area, welcoming visitors, employees, and vendors.Partner with vendors and the Workplace team to maintain office cleanliness and visual standards.Organize and stock office spaces, including kitchens, bathrooms, common areas, and conference rooms.Coordinate with building security for access requests and manage open work orders with building management.Assist with incoming tickets and emails by triaging, assigning tasks, or escalating issues as needed.Handle mail and packages, ensuring notifications and timely distribution to employees.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and onsite events.Support employee programs such as engagement and health and safety initiatives.Perform general administrative tasks and additional duties as assigned.Additions:
Experience in Google Workspace and Slack platformThis role requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including but not limited to lifting and carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds, standing for extended periods, and bending, reaching, or crouching as needed.Remote work not available, in-office required for Toronto business hours; weekdays 08:
