Responsibilities

1. Prepare and implement the Vehicle Software Quality Assurance Plan and report on Software Quality Assurance activities.
2. Support process conformity reporting and software documentation progress.
3. Track supplier software for project configuration management.
4. Plan and execute audits for internal and external suppliers, following up on corrective actions.
5. Assist with software certification activities.
6. Define software quality requirements with System Engineers during project startup.
7. Approve documentation for new software baselines for vehicle service.
8. Interface with customers on software quality issues if required.
9. Document lessons learned for each project phase.
10. Travel may be required for internal and external interfaces.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

• Understanding of software engineering life cycle models, tools, and techniques.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and quality tools.
• Team player with customer orientation.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with software configuration management tools.
• Auditor certification and experience.
• Business acumen.
• Ability to interpret standards like ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 90003, EN 50128, EN 50657, IEEE 1558, CMMI, IRIS.
• Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, and project tracking databases.
