Contract Details
Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert
Location: Toronto, ON
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; Core Business Hours
MUST HAVE:
Experience in FI / Banking industry: 8+ years
Complex project management: 8+ years
Experience in Treasury
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions with senior executive stakeholders
Certifications:
PMP certification, CSM, or equivalent preferred
Experience & Qualification Requirements:
8 to 10 years of experience in Finance/Banking industry
8+ years of experience in complex project management
Proven leadership skills
Full lifecycle development experience with proven project methodology tools
PMI or ITIL certification
Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
Job Responsibilities:
Indirectly manage a project team including Business Analysts, Business SMEs, and technology resources
Engage with the executive sponsor to ensure active participation in project initiatives
Identify and manage required outcomes of projects with stakeholders
Establish effective project oversight and governance bodies
Communicate regularly with key stakeholders regarding project status and significant changes
Respond to inquiries and escalate concerns from stakeholders at all levels
Provide guidance on best practices in project management to business partners and project teams
