Job Title: Payroll Analyst
Location: Remote
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$24.00/hr
Our client in York Region, ON is actively looking for a Payroll Analyst to join their team.
Position Description:
Processes related to Overtime (Accrual/Wage Test). Process payroll transactions.
Payroll Account Reconciliation.
Prepare and notify Finance staff of Payroll amounts for funding the bank
Pension Payroll.
Reconcile and prepare Monthly Pension/RRSP/TFSA Payments to Vendor and also review any issues with pension/RRSP or TFSA process.
Liaises with Mobility and Business Units on International Assignment issues and updates to payroll. Monthly reconciling.
Assists team-members and actively participates in identifying process improvements.
Quarterly review of payroll reports relating to T4/RL1 production to asses any adjustments required.
Skills & Qualifications:
~ Completion or in pursuit of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification, in affiliation with the National Payroll Institute.
~ Experience with Ceridian Dayforce, peoplesoft, SAP, dayforce is an asset.
~ Ability to work under pressure and established deadlines
~2-3 years of experience
~ Attention to detail
~ Good communications skills
