This role is eligible for a discretionary variable compensation award that considers business and individual performance.

We're Hiring:
Lead Python Platform Engineer for Notebooks!

Are you (or someone you love) ready to take ownership of a critical platform, driving innovation and empowering users across the organization? We're looking for a Python Platform Engineer to lead the development and evolution of our Notebooks platform! This is a unique opportunity to shape a core part of our ecosystem, working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and real-world impact.

What You'll Do:

1. Lead the design and development of new features for the Notebooks platform.
2. Ensure stability and reliability, maintaining a robust and scalable environment.
3. Collaborate with power users to provide design guidance, architectural support, and hands-on POCs.
4. Oversee platform currency and infrastructure updates-we have some exciting transformations planned this year!
5. Be the go-to expert, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Who You'll Be:

1. Extensive experience with Python and platform engineering.
2. Deep understanding of Notebooks platforms (e.g., Jupyter, Databricks, Anaconda, Nebari, or similar) and how users interact with them.
3. A strong foundation in infrastructure management and platform modernization.
4. Excellent collaboration skills, with a track record of working closely with end-users and stakeholders.
5. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for delivering elegant, impactful solutions.
