GARDEN CENTRE ASSOCIATE (Full-Time and Part-Time) Let's Grow Together! Come join the fun as our Garden Centre Associate with a major retailer from April through July! Are you energetic, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences, and passionate about all things green? If so, we want you on our team! We offer a fun and flexible environment, supportive team, part-time and full time hours! You will be responsible for the day-to-day care, stocking and merchandising of product within the Garden Centre while interacting with and assisting customers (no cashier work).

Provide superior customer service by being approachable, welcoming and friendly to customers.
Water, cull, and care for plant inventory (primarily flowers and vegetables).
Mov e / merchandise plant inventory from growers' racks to the retail floor.
Stock and merchandis e plants in accordance with merchandising guidelines and ensuring pricing and signage are accurate.
Demonstrate the capacity to address customer inquiries about plants and product variety, efficiently resolving questions or concerns with professionalism and promptness.
Assist in soil management - pricing and inventory count.
Additional administrative tasks - tracker for watering schedule, sprinkler system functionality.
Daily communication via app/email; time validation, plant care, markdowns, fast sellers and pricing.
Requirements:
Knowledge of or interest in learning about plants, gardening, and landscaping practices.
Previous customer service, merchandising and/or retail experience is an asset.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
Capable of standing, bending, lifting and stretching for extended periods.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have a smart phone (required for time validation).
Required to wear steel-toed shoes/boots.
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a team environment.
Flexible availability including weekends and statutory holidays required.
