We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our client's dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, working with very large data sets, and a strong background in AWS, Python, and SQL.
This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and optimizing data infrastructure and pipelines to support our client's innovative financial tools.Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize complex Python and SQL queries.Build and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines.Build infrastructure and custom pipelines from scratchDevelop and manage data models and databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.Utilize AWS data infrastructure tools such as Redshift, QuickSight, and Glue.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across large data sets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver insights.Implement best practices for data security and governance.Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in data engineering (ETL, data warehousing)Proven expertise in working with very large data sets.Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.Hands-on experience designing and building AWS data infrastructure ground up (Redshift, QuickSight, Glue).Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline development.Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Nice-to-Have Skills:
