WW Sales & Operations Trainee

Our future leaders start here. As a Waterworks Sales and Operations Trainee, your development will be hands-on. You'll learn this exciting business from the ground up.

Wolseley Waterworks (a division of Wolseley Canada) is a national leader in providing waterworks products and services to municipal, heavy construction water, and wastewater sectors. We have over 30 full-service Waterworks-dedicated branches across Canada.

What will you do:

Rotate through the warehouse, counter, and inside sales job roles
Attend training sessions, workshops, and mentoring meetings to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
Complete all learning elements (eLearning & hands-on)
Focus on sales process, product knowledge, leadership development, and related topics, aligning to our business
Job shadow with salespeople and subject matter experts

What will you bring:

Must be willing to relocate
Post Secondary Diploma/Degree in a relevant discipline:
Business (SupplyChain/Commerce/Marketing), Trades (Plumbing/HVAC/Construction), Humanities (Psychology/Sociology)
A dedication to continual learning with an aim to succeed
Results-oriented attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Career ambitious and able to envision long term career growth
Sales experience such as retail or wholesale considered an asset
Any second language, not required, but an asset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and can balance multiple priorities
Must hold a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Steel-toed boots (reimbursable up to $200 with receipt)
