Responsabilités

  • Représenter les clients devant les instances administratives en relations de travail ainsi que devant les tribunaux civils dans toute affaire relative au droit de l'emploi et à la santé et sécurité du travail.
  • Fournir des conseils et rédiger des avis juridiques en droit du travail, droit de l'emploi et santé et sécurité du travail.
  • Interpréter les lois, règlements et conventions collectives applicables.
  • Contribuer, au besoin, aux enquêtes administratives.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec les membres de l'équipe tout en bénéficiant de leur soutien.
  • Interagir efficacement avec la clientèle et offrir un service professionnel, rigoureux et personnalisé.
  • S'investir pleinement dans le développement des dossiers et dans la vie du cabinet, dans un esprit de collaboration et de collégialité.

Exigences

  • Membre en règle du Barreau du Québec.
  • Expérience pertinente en droit du travail, de l'emploi et en santé et sécurité du travail.
  • Expérience en plaidoiries devant le Tribunal administratif du travail, en arbitrage de griefs et devant les tribunaux civils (un atout).
  • Capacité à gérer des dossiers de manière autonome.
  • Excellente maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.
  • Rigueur professionnelle, sens de l'organisation, autonomie et esprit entrepreneurial.
  • Fortes aptitudes en rédaction, en négociation et en représentation.
  • Esprit d'analyse et de synthèse développé.
  • Aptitude marquée pour le travail d'équipe.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients before administrative labour relations bodies and civil courts in all matters relating to employment law and occupational health and safety.
  • Provide legal advice and draft legal opinions in labour law, employment law, and occupational health and safety.
  • Interpret applicable laws, regulations, and collective agreements.
  • Assist, as needed, with administrative investigations.
  • Work closely with team members while benefiting from their support.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide professional, rigorous, and personalized service.
  • Be fully invested in the development of files and the life of the firm in a spirit of collaboration and collegiality.

Requirements

  • Member in good standing of the Quebec Bar.
  • Relevant experience in labour and employment law, as well as occupational health and safety.
  • Experience in advocacy before the Administrative Labour Tribunal, grievance arbitration, and civil courts (an asset).
  • Ability to manage files independently.
  • Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written.
  • Professional rigor, organizational skills, autonomy, and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong skills in legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy.
  • Well-developed analytical and synthesis abilities.
  • Strong team spirit.
