Lipton School offers Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 programming to an enrolled student body of approximately 112 students.
The school has a professional staff of 8.35 FTE teachers and 6.31 FTE support staff.
Lipton School provides a strong academic program and supports students to become caring, competent, responsible citizens who value education and lifelong learning.
Lipton is located 91 km northeast of Regina.Education & Experience:
Candidates will have a Bachelor of Education, a Professional A teaching certificate, a master's degree in a related field (or willingness to obtain as a condition of employment), and demonstrated leadership experience.
Experience as a school-based administrator is considered an asset.Skills & Abilities:
Candidates should demonstrate experience in learning leadership, human resource leadership, setting direction, and professional leadership attributes through cover letter and resume.Leadership and management attributes include:
Building classroom capacity by focusing on teaching and learning.Leading teachers in instructional practices, assessment, and data use.Establishing school-wide expectations for grading and reporting.Promoting an inclusionary model for all students and staff.Providing a collegial, collaborative, and safe school environment.Engaging in regular classroom visits to support student learning and teacher growth.Supporting leadership development among staff.Creating shared mission, vision, and values.Communicating school and division priorities effectively.Leading change and maintaining high expectations for academics and behaviour.Building productive relationships with staff and students, demonstrating trust, integrity, and professionalism.Compensation & Assignment:
This position involves 100% administrative duties.
