Située à 90 km au nord de La Sarre (Abitibi-Témiscamingue), la mine Casa Berardi emploie près de 650 employés et a produit plus de 1,9 million d'onces d'or depuis son ouverture en 1988.
Avec la mise en production de sa première fosse, Casa Berardi est devenue en juillet 2016, une opération mixte (sous terre et surface).

Il s'agit également des trois éléments qui définissent nos façons de gérer nos activités et qui nous sommes.DESCRIPTION DU POSTESous la responsabilité du contremaître mécanique mobile, le mécanicien est responsable de préparer le matériel nécessaire pour effectuer les travaux d'entretien et de réparation des différents équipements mobiles.
De plus, il aura à travailler seul sur les équipements qui requièrent le contrôle à distance.
Celui-ci devra également travailler conjointement avec son équipe, à la résolution des problèmes sur les différents équipements mobiles de la fosse.HORAIRE7 jours de travail - 7 jours de congé (jour/nuit) - quart de travail de 12 heures EXIGENCES• Détenir un diplôme d'études professionnelles ou collégiales en mécanique d'engins de chantier ou expérience en mécanique équivalente;• Posséder de l'expérience dans l'entretien et détection de problème d'équipement de fosse;• Détenir un permis de conduire valide et pouvoir opérer les véhicules de service;• Être en mesure de diagnostiquer les problèmes et d'en apporter la solution la plus efficace;• Fournir tous les efforts au respect des exigences et échéanciers établis par l'employeur;• Faire preuve d'initiative dans sa prise de décisions;• Être capable de travailler en espace clos, travaux en hauteur, ainsi qu'en étant exposé à des températures variables;• Toujours prioriser la sécurité dans ses interventions;• Parler, lire et écrire le français;• Détenir les modules miniers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 et 7 ainsi qu'un permis d'explosifs valide est un atout;• Détenir la formation S.I.M.D.U.T.
et la formation cadenassage est un atout;• Posséder de l'expérience dans le secteur minier est un atout, tout comme la maitrise de l'anglais.
