We are currently looking for a Divisional Financial Business Partner- FP&A , to support one of our Western Canada divisions.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the Divisional Financial Business Partner- FP&A will be responsible for providing timely and insightful financial analysis to support decision-making process within the division.
This role will focus on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and divisional goals.
This is a hands-on role and acting as front-line support to local management.
Monitor key performance indicators.
Prepare presentations and analyze results for business reviews.
Analyze financial statements, explain variances, and formulate business recommendations.
Prepare various month-end reports, with business comments to guide management in decision-making.
Identify anomalies, analyze issues, and provide guidance based on the analysis conducted.
Reconcile/analyze some general ledger accounts
Various ad hoc analyses.
University degree in Business Administration specialized in Accounting.
Experience with Cognos TM1 and Business Intelligence (BI) is an asset
Strong business acumen (ability to write technical reports and routine correspondence)
Project driven
Advanced MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access)
Strong IT, analytical, numerical, process analysis/improvement, problem-solving and team-working skills are also essential
You must be a self-starter and motivated to learn new techniques, skills, and knowledge required by his or her duties and responsibilities.
