Our client is an established full-service law firm in Calgary, Alberta, specializing in debt recovery, including both secured and unsecured collections. With a growing portfolio of clients, including those in the financial sector, they're seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal to join their dynamic and dedicated team.

RESPONSIBILLITIES:

Draft and prepare Statements of Claim and Default Judgments.
Handle Motions, Affidavits of Service, and Affidavits of Enforcement.
Manage Garnishment follow-ups and Writ filings.
Communicate with debtors to resolve outstanding judgment debts.
Liaise with Provincial and KB court offices.
Support various administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

College Diploma
Licensed Paralegal Certificate.
1-2 years of paralegal experience preferred, particularly in civil litigation or debt recovery.
Ability to adapt to custom-built software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
Team player mindset - collaborative and reliable.
Self-motivated and driven to meet targets.
