Part-Time English Reading Tutor

Looking for an experienced, supportive, and professional English reading tutor to work in person with our two daughters (ages 11 and 14), who are working to build their reading and writing skills in English.
This is a part-time position (6-8 hours per week), with a flexible schedule.About the role:
We are seeking a tutor who can:
• Focus primarily on reading comprehension and writing skills in English • Use engaging, interactive methods such as games and activities to make learning fun and effective • Assist with a specialized reading program designed to support dyslexia and reading delays • Provide occasional light tutoring in other school subjects as needed • Be patient, supportive, firm, organized, and prompt • Work directly with parents to communicate goals, needs, and progress updates, including written reports on developmentBoth of our daughters are working toward academic goals such as highlighting key ideas, taking notes, writing structured summaries, and answering reading comprehension questions.
We're looking for someone who can identify and fill learning gaps with creative, productive instruction while fostering confidence and a love of learning.Requirements:
• Fluent in English (native-level or near-native proficiency) • Experience tutoring English reading and writing • Experience with dyslexia or learning delays is a strong plus • Background in working with middle and high school students • Comfortable tutoring in person in Barra da Tijuca • Must be reliable, communicative, and collaborative with parentsSchedule & Details:
