This is a fully remote opportunity for one of our esteemed clients.
About the role As a Mobile QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in testing and automating our mobile applications to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues early in the development cycle and maintain a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mobile application testing to ensure functionality, usability, and performance Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Kotlin and TypeScript.
Clone GitHub repositories, navigate pull requests (PRs), and collaborate with the development team.
Set up and utilize a variety of emulators for testing.
Identify, document, and track defects, working proactively to resolve them.
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
Follow best practices for test automation, ensuring scalable and maintainable code.
Be self-motivated and proactive in raising concerns and identifying potential issues.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Hands-on experience with mobile app testing and automation.
Proficiency in Kotlin for test automation.
Experience with TypeScript.
Familiarity with setting up and using various mobile emulators.
Strong understanding of GitHub, including cloning repositories and managing PRs.
Self-driven, with the ability to follow instructions and take initiative.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Nice to Have:
Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
Knowledge of both backend and frontend testing.
Experience with Android Studio Espresso test automation.
Familiarity with feature toggle testing methodologies.
