$36.45 - $37.29 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging optionsThe RoleCalvary Mater Newcastle is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Trial Finance Officer to join our team.
This role is responsible for the coordination, management, and reconciliation of finances within the Trial Unit cost centre.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial processes and demonstrate a keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions.DutiesDevelop and maintain effective, professional relationships with sponsors and third parties;Coordinate with Sponsors and Trial team to ensure all due income is received and correct;Reconcile income received within the Trial Unit Cost centre including grants, donations and interest;Coordinate with third party service providers to ensure timely payment of expenditures/accounts payable;Establish and manage patient reimbursements associated with Trials;Reconcile all expenditure within the Trial Unit Cost centre including internal and external service providers, patient reimbursements, staff wages and general Trial Unit expendituresAbout YouRelevant Experience in Finance environmentDemonstrated experience with Microsoft Computer systems/ relevant databasesDemonstrated understanding of finance processesDemonstrated ability to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activityDemonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary teamDemonstrated effective interpersonal skills and organisational skills including time managementDemonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbalFor further information please contact Kim Adler, Trial Unit Manager, Clinical Trials at *** JOIN US?BenefitsCMN is an Affiliated Health Organisation providing services to both public and private patients primarily from the Hunter New England area.
