About the role
A Ryman nurse's work is varied, meaningful, and challenging. Our pioneering spirit means we're always innovating to help our residents live their best lives. Based at our beautiful Nellie Melba Retirement Village in Wheelers Hill, you will use your nursing and people skills to:
Provide compassionate, high-quality care that is good enough for mum and dad
Develop lasting relationships with residents and their families
Assess residents and develop and review care plans
Administer treatments and ongoing support to residents
Utilize pioneering technology, including our own care app, myRyman
Support the Clinical Manager and Unit Coordinators
We are looking for a permanent part-time position to join our team, working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 2:45 PM to 10:00 PM, with a base rate of $50.58 per hour.
About You
To thrive in our supportive environment, you will have:
A current Registered Nurse registration
At least five years of experience in an aged care setting
Experience as a Nurse In Charge (preferred)
A reliable, friendly, and professional manner
The ability to share knowledge and work within a supportive team
Experience working in aged care (highly desired)
Kindness, compassion, and a drive to deliver high-quality care
Confidence working with limited supervision and demonstrating clinical leadership
