• Business StrategyPlaying a key role in shaping business strategy across resourcing, product development, and marketing and sales plans.
Partnering with the leadership team to identify risks and opportunities, while driving cross-functional initiatives such as digital transformation and data strategy.
• Risk, Compliance & OperationsOverseeing all aspects of risk, compliance, and operations.
Ensuring robust frameworks, systems, and controls are in place, with a focus on regulatory compliance.
Providing regular reporting to the board and relevant committees and promoting a strong risk-aware culture.
• Operational EfficiencyLeading continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes, reduce risk, and enhance service delivery.
Driving the implementation of technology and systems that lift performance across the business.
• GrowthSupporting the distribution team in winning and maintaining inclusion in model portfolios, managed accounts, and approved product lists.
Collaborating with the client services team in retaining existing clients.
• Senior Leadership & ManagementActively contributing as a senior leader by fostering an inclusive, high-performing, and transparent culture.
Promoting U Ethical's purpose, values, and initiatives both internally and externally.About You
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, finance, management, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in risk and compliance and/or investment operations leadership roles.
• Experience in growing a business.
• Proven track record in leading digital transformation initiatives, aligning technology solutions with strategic goals, leveraging data analytics, and driving operational efficiency through successful project delivery.
• Strategic and analytical leader with a track record of developing and executing growth strategies, underpinned by data-driven decision-making and sound commercial judgment.
• Strong communicator and presenter, able to convey complex ideas with clarity and influence stakeholders across all levels.
• Highly organised and accountable, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining rigour in planning, reporting, and compliance.
• People-oriented and values-led, with a passion for ethical investment, technology enablement, and leading high-performing, inspired teams.
