Data Architect

Work with the Chief Data Officer (CDO) to develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
Create and maintain logical and physical data models.
Ensure data models support business requirements and data integrity.
Design database structures, including tables, indexes, views, and schemas.
Design and implement data integration processes to consolidate data from various sources.
Ensure seamless data flow across systems and applications.
Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data warehousing.
Evaluate emerging technologies and tools related to data architecture and recommend suitable solutions.
Oversee the design and implementation of data platform architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Implement robust data security measures to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access and breaches.
Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, data analysts, and IT teams, to align data architecture with organizational needs.
Communicate data architecture strategies and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Provide guidance and training to team members on data architecture principles and practices.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data architecture and share knowledge with the team.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized university; Master's preferred.
CDMP, TOGAF certification.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience with Big Data and cloud tools.
Extensive experience working with Data Platform tools like Big Data stack, ETL tools, streaming, data science, and data visualization tools.
Hands-on knowledge of SQL, Python, Spark, Hadoop ecosystem.
In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies.
Diverse knowledge of industry best practices, reference architecture, benchmarks, regulations, and standards.
Technical knowledge of infrastructure, resiliency, replication, and disaster recovery technologies.
Fluent in English and Arabic.
Strong presentation, interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience in portfolio and program management, budget planning, and management.
Knowledge of IT and management strategy, analytical skills.
