Technical Product Manager - AI & Data (Emirates National)

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) with deep expertise in AI, machine learning (ML), and data-driven technologies. The ideal candidate will drive strategic programs, ensuring smooth execution across engineering, data science, and product teams. This role requires a balance of technical acumen, program management skills, and leadership abilities to accelerate AI and data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
Program Strategy & Execution : Lead AI / ML and data-driven programs and products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with data scientists, AI engineers, cloud architects, and product teams to drive AI / ML initiatives from research to production.
Technical Oversight :
Understand AI / ML models, data pipelines, and cloud-based architectures to make informed program decisions.
Data-Driven Decision Making : Oversee the end-to-end data lifecycle, ensuring quality, governance, and compliance with regional regulations (e.g., ADGM, DIFC, GDPR).
Risk & Issue Management : Identify bottlenecks in AI model deployment, data ingestion, and integration workflows, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
Agile & Scrum Leadership : Drive sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming for AI and data teams using Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
Stakeholder Engagement : Provide executive-level reporting on AI program impact, data insights, and risk assessments.
Cloud & Infrastructure Alignment : Collaborate with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) to optimize AI model deployment, MLOps, and data pipeline scalability.
Vendor & Partner Management : Manage external AI / ML and data service providers, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
Key Qualifications :
6+ years of experience in technical product management, AI / ML, or data engineering roles.
Strong understanding of AI / ML model lifecycle, data engineering, big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka), and MLOps best practices.
Experience working with cloud-based AI / ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex AI, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).
Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, and technical program management tools.
Technical background in AI, ML, or data engineering-experience with Python, SQL, or distributed computing is a plus.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
PMP, CSM, SAFe, or AI / ML certifications are a plus.
Preferred Experience :
Experience in AI / ML, data science, or analytics-focused organizations.
Understanding of data security, privacy, and AI ethics compliance in the UAE region.
Knowledge of LLMs, generative AI, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
