1. Ons het so pas ‘n paar probleme opgelos en lekker gesels oor die verskillende maniere wat gebruik is om die antwoorde te bepaal. Werk nou saam met ‘n maat. Lees die volgende probleem en werk dan deur die oplossings. Maak seker dat jul goed verstaan presies hoe die antwoord bereken is.

’n Restaurant gebruik 9,786 liter melk tydens ontbyt en 5,463 liter vir aandete. Hoeveel minder liter melk word vir aandete gebruik?

Ek trek eers die heelgetalle af: 9 – 5 = 4

Nou tel ek die antwoorde bymekaar: 4 + 3 10 size 12{ { {3} over {"10"} } } {} + 2 100 size 12{ { {2} over {"100"} } } {} + 3 1000 size 12{ { {3} over {"1000"} } } {} = 4.323

Die verskil is dus 4,323 liter.

3. Bereken die som van die twee grootste desimale breuke.

4. Maak ‘n lys van voorwerpe waarvoor jy nie desimale breuke sal gebruik nie. Maak ‘n netjiese skets van dié voorwerpe.
