Sales Manager Solar & Green Energy Solutions
Basic Salary: £50,000 DOE | Uncapped OTE circa £100,000+

We are seeking a Sales Manager to join one of the UKs most recognisable and fast-growing renewable energy brands. With a strong foothold in the green energy sector and a reputation for delivering high-quality solar installations and other energy-efficient solutions, our business is scaling fast and were ready for a leader who can take our sales function to the next level.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced telesales leader to join a forward-thinking, innovative organisation with inbound lead volumes, strong brand presence , and a proven team of high-performing consultants.
What Youll Be Doing
Sales Strategy & Lead Generation
Oversee and refine internal lead generation processes and work closely with Ho-Marketing on strategy
Build and manage external lead generation relationships
Leverage and optimise our AI bot tools to improve lead conversion
Drive cross-selling opportunities with PropCert, targeting landlord markets
Collaborate with other business departments to enhance overall lead flow
Team Management & Leadership
Lead, support, and manage a team of high-level solar consultants
Full responsibility for team performance, P&L, reporting, and KPI tracking
Monthly billing, commission, and incentive management
Mobilise new processes and build scalable systems using tools like Zoho, dashboards, and tech platforms (not just Excel!)
Create and drive incentives and motivational schemes to foster team engagement
Team Growth & Training
Build out the team by hiring and onboarding new salespeople once foundations are in place
Establish structured training programs for junior team members
Plan for hybrid or remote team expansion to support national growth
About the Current Team
Youll be managing a team of 3 exceptionally experienced solar sales professionals , each billing approx. £95k/month.
All team members have 15+ years of industry experience
Operate remotely with a consultative approach to sales
Highly self-sufficient, motivated, and skilled in mentoring juniors
