Senior Audit Manager

• Lead and oversee the execution of audit and assurance engagements, ensuring timely planning, documentation, and communication throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  
• Be proactive and consistent communication with internal clients to provide updates on engagement progress, findings, and expected outcomes.
  
• Develop and present well-considered, actionable recommendations that address the root causes of identified issues, ensuring relevance and alignment with organizational goals.
  
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports, communicating key findings and recommendations to the Director and relevant business unit leadership.
  
• Monitor and track the timely implementation of management's corrective action plans, ensuring effective resolution of identified issues.
  
• Build and sustain strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the organization to support audit objectives and broader business initiatives.
  
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of organizational operations, industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory developments to inform the audit plan and support risk management efforts.
  
• Participate in business initiatives as a trusted advisor, offering timely and practical insights on controls, risk, and governance matters.
  
• Actively contribute to the evolution of internal audit practices, including methodology enhancements and strategic initiatives aimed at driving team effectiveness and value delivery.
  

• CPA, CIA or CFA preferred
• Min 7 years of Internal/External Audit experience
• Strong proficiency in Investments and Capital Markets
• Public accounting firm training is a strong asset

• the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations;
