As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of critical facilities within the various hospitals & clinics.
Your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, HVAC, and fluid dynamics will contribute to maintaining optimal operations and resilience.
Responsibilities:
Electrical and Mechanical Design:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement electrical and mechanical systems.
Apply your physical experience to create innovative solutions for facility upgrades and expansions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
HVAC Support:
Provide technical support for HVAC systems.
Contribute to the design and optimization of airflow distribution.
Support the installation and maintenance of HVAC panels and units.
Critical Facility Resilience:
Enhance the resilience of critical systems, including uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
Evaluate and improve N+1 redundancy for critical infrastructure.
Address any issues related to HVAC performance and reliability.
Basis of Design Creation:
Develop comprehensive basis of design documents for electrical and mechanical projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and goals.
Code Compliance:
Stay informed about current codes and regulations.
Ensure that all electrical and mechanical designs adhere to safety and compliance standards.
Must sit in Greater Seattle.
WA Area or Greater Irvine, CA areaBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong experience with HVACMinimum 8 years of relevant experience in electrical and mechanical design.
At least 4 years in a senior engineering position.
Experience supporting critical facilities and spaces within the healthcare industry.
