Gentiva is excited to announce an opening for a Float Hospice Registered Nurse (RN). As a leader in hospice, palliative, home health, and personal home care, Gentiva is committed to providing compassionate care to patients and their families.
In this essential role, you will be part of our dedicated hospice team, providing vital care and support to those navigating serious illnesses. You will work in various branches temporarily to cover staff shortages, typically for assignments lasting 13 to 26 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care services to hospice patients and provide emotional and physical support to their families.
Oversee an interdisciplinary team that includes Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants to maintain high-quality hospice care.
Manage and ensure accurate documentation of all assigned patient clinical records.
About You:
You must have at least one (1) year of experience in hospice care.
You hold a current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
Your compassionate, kind, and empathetic nature makes you an ideal fit for this role.
