Job Purpose
JVM Solutions is hiring Registered Nurse Case Managers to support the Mobilization Force Generation Installation (MFGI) Soldier Readiness Processing Center at Fort Bliss, TX. This role ensures that Service Members (SMs) receive high-quality medical support as part of their Mobilization/Demobilization (MOB/DEMOB) process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure Service Members (SMs) are medically cleared for Mobilization/Demobilization (MOB/DEMOB) or ensure SMs are sent to the proper sections or units for their care. This is a very dynamic section requiring excellent time management, critical thinking, flexibility, communication, and teamwork. The use of SOP's and published regulations are essential to succeeding in this environment.
Assist in identifying service member needs and implementing the plan of care.
Maintain documentation of all treatment provided in accordance with directives and prepare such records and reports as may be required by the policy. Documentation in MHS Genesis shall include, but is not limited to, all conversations whether in person or telephonic, guidance, recommendations you provide to SMs and their command teams. This includes any guidance, recommendations, and/or orders from the Provider(s).
Communicate pertinent service member data to Physician, Physician Assistant (PA), and/or Nurse Practitioner (NP) as appropriate.
Carry out prescribed Physician, PA, and/or NP orders and document in service member medical records.
Recognize and initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations, including initiating life-saving measures in absence of Physician, PA, and/or NP.
Follow established government and professional clinical standards and accepted clinical protocols in the performance of duties as outlined in MTF policies and procedures.
Personally record hours worked in the Defense Medical Human Resources System - internet (DMHRSi) system, or other system, as required by the MTF.
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of experience within the last 3years working as a full-time RN-Case Manager.
Possess of the following certifications: CCM, RN-NCM, or CMC
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in any State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, maintained in a current status.
Other Requirements
Must pass a criminal background check.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
