Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical team for the Night Shift. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate comprehensive nursing care for a diverse patient population, engage actively in patient and family education, advocate for patient needs, and collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams.

Education Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
License:
Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of TX
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
Essential Skills:
Understanding and effectively addressing patient and family needs
Strong critical thinking abilities
Ability to maintain composure and customer focus while working under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' conditions and nursing care requirements.
Set meaningful goals and determine appropriate nursing interventions tailored to the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of patients.
Develop individualized nursing care plans.
Implement care plans and modify them as necessary based on patient progress.
Evaluate patient care outcomes and adjust strategies to improve results.
Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to provide holistic patient care.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with best practices.
Maintain open communication with patients, ensuring they receive quality care and support.
Educate patients and/or family members about relevant conditions and care processes.
Document nursing observations, assessments, medications, and all care delivered accurately.

Maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of work areas.
Assist in onboarding and orienting new team members.
Coordinate and supervise departmental activities as required.
Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care quality.
