WHAT YOU WILL DO:
We're in search of an enthusiastic and charismatic individual to join our payroll team. As the Payroll Manager, you will take the helm in overseeing and orchestrating payroll procedures, ensuring unwavering compliance with laws and tax obligations, leading and guiding our talented payroll team, and meticulously maintaining the records that keep our financial ship sailing smoothly.
Efficient Payroll Processing: You will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, ensuring all employees receive their compensation promptly and in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Advanced Payroll Systems Management: You'll manage and optimize our payroll systems, staying up-to-date with industry advancements and ensuring that we utilize technology to streamline our processes effectively.
Team Leadership: As a manager, you will lead and support a team of payroll professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring they deliver consistently exceptional results.
Acquisition Support: During acquisitions or mergers, you will play a pivotal role in integrating payroll processes and systems to maintain a smooth transition for all employees.
Implementation of New Systems: Your expertise will be crucial in introducing and implementing new payroll systems or software to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Regularly conduct audits to verify the accuracy of payroll data and ensure compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and company policies.
Managing all aspects of payroll from time tracking to tax compliance
Collaborate with auditors and oversee payroll tax audit processes.
Qualifications MUST HAVE:
10 years of expertise in managing payroll and taxation across multiple locations
Proven experience as a Payroll Manager or in a similar role.
Proficiency with Ultimate Software UltiPro HR/PR (UKG) application, Kronos Timekeeping application, Microsoft Office applications, and other automated payroll processing systems.
Excellent understanding of multistate payroll tax laws and regulations.
NICE TO HAVE :
Bachelor's degree or associate's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
Experience with ADP print and tax services.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics accounting software and proficiency in accounting practices.
Professional Certifications such as: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) orCPM
