Job Summary The Director of Information Technology and Operations provides leadership, management, and vision to ensure the company has appropriate IT resources (systems, infrastructure, personnel, procedures, controls, contractors) and customer services to support operations and growth. This role requires a respectful, constructive, and energetic style aligned with the company's mission and values.
Responsibilities Develop and implement IT and Operations strategies aligned with the company's goals.
Identify technology needs and recommend solutions to decision-makers.
Coordinate with other divisions to ensure efficient technology, project management, and customer service.
Lead and manage the IT and Operations teams, including performance management.
Develop, implement, and maintain information policies and standards.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and participate in audits.
Oversee the operation of IT systems, hardware, software, networks, and cloud infrastructure.
Manage the IT/Customer Services budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Approve department invoices and evaluate new equipment or solutions.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
Monitor technology suppliers and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Follow up on projects and personnel meetings.
Maintain cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive financial data.
Requirements Bachelor's degree; a master's degree is preferred.
At least 7 years of IT management experience, preferably in finance.
Proficiency with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud.
Project management skills.
Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA+, CISSP, CISM, PMP are advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure, solve problems, and make decisions.
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and organization skills.
Proficiency in cybersecurity, data management, and financial technologies.
