Located in our Avery Dennison Smartrac Queretaro site and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.
The successful candidate will have professional development as part of a new team, in a growing industry.
The objective of the Facilities and Maintenance team is through modern maintenance systems to maintain 'business as usual' for plant operations & continuously improve the availability/reliability of the equipment to manufacture quality products in a safe and cost-effective way.
This team will also be responsible for the CAPEX planning and execution, including an ambitious capacity increase Master Plan.
Key Responsibilities
Maintains knowledge and good understanding about facilities/equipment and its conditions.
Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting, based on work orders.
Monitor facilities/equipment to ensure optimal setting up, work with QA to keep the optimal room conditions.
Monitor facilities/equipment to ensure optimal operation, work with Production to schedule planned downtime.
Monitor facilities/equipment to ensure safety operation, work with EHS to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
Monitor activity of contractors.
Support response to building, security, and fire emergencies.
Support projects, equipment installation and startup.
Qualifications Qualifications & skills
Bachelor Degree in Industrial Maintenance Engineering or related discipline.
• 7 years experience in facilities maintenance or technical field, preferable in the Automotive or Healthcare Industry.
Able to have fluent conversations in English.
Solid knowledge of Facilities Management methodologies, processes and practices.
Experience in Electric substations, compressors, HVAC and FPS.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Operation of maintenance shop machinery (desired).
Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software, including AutoCAD or SolidWorks (desired).
