The Project Delivery Director role will join the Delivery team, a leadership team composed of our highest-performing principal-level practitioners and consultants.
We rely on this core team to provide leadership and perspective to project teams while simultaneously overseeing multiple projects.
This team ensures that projects are formed with the right combination of people who can deliver excellent work, and then guides these teams through our process to success.
• Identify the skills needed to solve the problem and work with HR to ensure the project is well-staffed+ Define design research methods per project or invent new ones to obtain necessary information efficiently+ Leverage collaborative design methods or invent new ones to find creative solutions to multi-faceted problems+ Identify key milestones that need to happen in order to deliver on-time+ Bring a work smarter, not harder attitude to deliver value quickly
• Lead the client with your impressive consulting skills
• + Build trust and confidence with clients+ Communicate with admirable clarity+ Have a strong point of view and know when to say No+ Anticipate and clarify client expectations+ Keep the team outcome-focused while delivering outstanding work+ Clearly define roles and responsibilities+ Facilitate clear team communication+ Provide respectful, performance feedback and coaching with clear action items to #makeitbetter+ Manage risk before it happens+ Keep the team focused on the most valuable work and ensure its delivered
