Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant:
Assist in the evaluation of clients' daily living skills and capacities to assess their abilities and limitations.
Support patients through all phases of physical therapy treatment, including exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and isokinetic programs.
Monitor patients during their treatments and effectively communicate observations to the Physical Therapist.
Collaborate with staff and other healthcare team members to share, discuss, and evaluate patient information for effective treatment planning and modification.
Qualifications Needed:
Associates Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is required.
An unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant License is required to practice.
