About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 42-day locum tenens position at a summer camp clinic in Pennsylvania. This assignment involves providing medical care for camp attendees, starting 06/19/2025. The schedule consists of split shifts, working from 7am-10am and 5:30pm-8pm daily, primarily focused on distributing medications and addressing common camp-related health issues. The ideal candidate will be comfortable treating children for conditions such as colds, coughs, flu, minor injuries, and swimmer's ear. This role requires an active Pennsylvania license and familiarity with paper charting.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Distribute medications to campers during morning and evening shifts
Assess and treat common camp-related illnesses and injuries
Provide care for conditions such as colds, coughs, flu, and swimmer's ear
Manage minor injuries and scrapes
Maintain accurate paper charts for all patient encounters
Collaborate with camp staff to ensure camper health and safety
Educate campers on health and hygiene practices
Adhere to all camp policies and procedures
Provide on-call support as needed
Required Qualifications:
Current Nurse Practitioner license with Family Practice specialization
Active Pennsylvania state license
Experience working with children and adolescents
Comfort with treating common pediatric conditions
Ability to work split shifts
