Trusted Staffe Seeks Physical Therapist for Post-Hospital Rehabilitation Center in Exton, PA
Trusted Staffe is partnering with a post-hospital rehabilitation center in Exton, PA to find a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated PT to play a key role in helping patients regain their functional mobility and independence after hospitalization.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess patients' impairments, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
Develop individualized treatment plans that address each patient's specific needs and goals, focusing on improving strength, coordination, balance, gait, and overall functional abilities.
Utilize a variety of physical therapy techniques, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and gait training, to achieve treatment goals.
Educate and train patients on proper exercise techniques and self-care strategies to promote long-term recovery.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
Document treatment progress in patients' medical records and participate in patient care conferences.
Maintain a safe and patient-centered treatment environment.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date on current physical therapy practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Valid Physical Therapy License in the state of Pennsylvania.
Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience in a post-hospital rehabilitation setting (preferred).
Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to document effectively in medical records.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience treating patients with a variety of post-hospital conditions.
Knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices.
Proficient in manual therapy techniques.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
