Our client, the Long Island office of a highly regarded White Plains based firm, is seeking an Associate with 5 or more years of experience representing employers, municipalities and others in management-side labor issues and litigations, to add to their busy and successful team.
Collaborating closely with partners, the Associate will be given in depth exposure to defending actions across a variety of state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
The Associate will work on arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations, researching and advising on labor and employment-related statutes and related litigations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills, excellent research, writing and analytical abilities, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a law firm setting.
The Associate will represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment or other claims.
JD required.
Must be admitted to practice in NY.
Compensation includes a salary of 140K -160K plus bonus and a robust benefits package.
