Key Responsibilities:
Conduct medical examinations and prescribe medications under physician supervision.
Collaborate with physicians in addressing both acute and chronic medical needs of our patients.
Gather comprehensive health histories to assess patient status.
Order and perform diagnostic laboratory tests and screenings.
Treat various illnesses, administer injections, and suture wounds as required.
Monitor patients' therapy and ensure continuity of care.
Provide counseling to patients and families on preventive health measures.
Engage in peer reviews, chart reviews, educational staff initiatives, and the development of clinical guidelines.

Annual Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000

Requirements:
License and active registration:
You must have an active license as a physician assistant or registered nurse/nurse practitioner in New York State.
Physician Assistant:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in physician assistant studies and completion of an accredited PA training program.
Passing grade on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination.
Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
At least one year of experience in ambulatory health care.
Valid CPR certification.
Nurse Practitioner:
Graduation from a recognized nurse practitioner education program.
Current certification as a nurse practitioner by either AANPCB or ANCC.
Successful completion of pharmacology coursework.
Three years of nursing experience in an ambulatory setting is preferred.
At least one year of experience as a nurse practitioner in ambulatory care.
