*Overview
• GovCIO is currently hiring a Project Manager to support Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and understand Scan as a Service (SaaS) and strengthen day-to-day program operations and business processes efficiencies. This position will be a fully remote position within the United States. Core hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM ET.
• Responsibilities
• + Schedules IRS tasks and coordinates with various team members to accomplish the results.
• Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking, analysis and reporting.
• Manages the direction of the IRS program through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives.
• Supervises professional and technical support personnel performing in their regular disciplines.
• Qualifications
• Required Skills and Experience
• + Bachelors with 2 - 5 years (or commensurate experience)
• Analytical Thinking - Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve the problems in the best interest of the business
• Effective Communications - Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors; ability to effectively write/technical writing; and ability to translate technical approaches and methodologies
• Tools - Able to use project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, MS Teams, SharePoint, and capacity models

• Understand database management, preferably AirTable application
• Ability to clearly communicate with a vast array of personnel and articulate the procedures for onboarding

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
