Albany Medical Center is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro ICU/SICU to provide exceptional care for patients in the Neuro ICU and Surgical ICU departments. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of ICU staff experience, including Neuro ICU/SICU settings, and be proficient with Epic electronic medical records (EMR).

Direct Patient Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU and SICU.
Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and support staff to provide optimal patient care.
Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, neurological status, and overall health. Accurately document patient conditions, interventions, and responses to treatment in the Epic EMR system.
Advocate for patient care and comfort while maintaining communication with patients' families.
Compliance: Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Competency Testing: Complete competency testing within 48 hours of submission, sent via email to candidates.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU staff experience required, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in Neuro ICU and SICU settings.
Current RN license required. Epic Experience: Epic EMR experience is REQUIRED.
Competency testing is required within 48 hours of submission, with an up-to-date email address provided.
Candidate may be required to float to other units as needed based on hospital staffing needs.
Facility Size: Albany Medical Center is a large healthcare facility, and the ICU departments are part of its 700-bed capacity.
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
