Le candidat sélectionné évoluera au sein d'une équipe multidisciplinaire composée d'ingénieurs et de technologues dont la mission est le développement et la mise en production de produits/composants optoélectroniques telles que des rubans de fibres optiques ou des nappes de guides d'onde polymériques.
Situé dans la zone d'innovation Technum Québec, le candidat aura à travailler dans notre centre de recherche et développement au Centre de Collaboration MiQro Innovation (C2MI) ainsi que sur le site principal de l'usine IBM de Bromont.
Les projets sont gérés en mode agile, avec une collaboration et une communication constante au sein de l'équipe.
• Contribuer au bon fonctionnement du laboratoire de mesure et de tests optiques, incluant l'utilisation d' équipements de caractérisation, le support à la définition et l'optimisation des procédures de test ainsi que l'analyse des résultats
• Travailler en étroite collaboration avec une équipe de techniciens et ingénieurs pour assurer le bon déroulement des opérations quotidiennes, favoriser le transfert de connaissances techniques et contribuer à l'amélioration continue des pratiques de travail
• Développer et programmer des solutions innovantes pour l'assemblage de composantes optiques et adapter les recettes existantes aux nouveaux designs de produits optoélectroniques
• Maintenir un système de suivi de la stabilité des équipements.
• Récolter et analyser les données issues des processus d'assemblage
• Collaborer étroitement avec les fournisseurs d'équipements, de composantes optiques et de produits chimiques pour soutenir le développement et l'optimisation des procédés Important

• Un diplôme de technicien en génie physique
• Seront également considérées d'autres disciplines techniques associées au développement de produits optiques et microélectroniques
• Connaissance des composantes associées à l'assemblage et tests optoélectronique :
fibres et connecteurs optiques, puces laser, adhésifs, etc.
• Connaissance reliées au couplage optique dans les puces photoniques
• Connaissance des procédés de fabrication et d'encapsulation de puces électroniques
• Connaissance de la programmation d'équipements d'assemblage
• Bonnes capacités de communication écrites et orales
• Bilinguisme français-anglais
