Position Overview:
As an RN in Labor and Delivery, you will provide comprehensive patient care utilizing your nursing expertise. Your role involves:
Performing assessments and implementing nursing interventions.
Addressing the physical, psychosocial, religious, and cultural needs of patients and their families.
Effectively communicating with fellow healthcare team members regarding patient conditions and treatments.
Exhibiting flexibility, organization, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Licensure:
Must possess a current North Carolina Registered Nurse license (or compact state license).
Certifications:
BLS certification is a must; additional certifications as mandated by the department.
Experience:
A minimum of 1 year in Labor and Delivery is required.
