We are seeking an expert Jira Application Developer that can craft, develop, and maintain some of the most impactful Enterprise-wide tools at Zillow Group! We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Atlassian Application Developer that will focus specifically on Jira and Confluence cloud.

As a Senior Jira Application Developer, you will:

• Have experience crafting, building and deploying custom cloud-based applications or extensions to meet our customers' requirements.

• Be about enhancing and constantly improving our current base of custom, application specific code and integration services.

• Take pride in championing and evangelizing new tools and technologies to complement our existing enterprise systems landscape.

• Care deeply about technical architecture, design standards and love to provide mentorship to execute scalable, multi-functional applications.

This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or similar.

• 3+ years of experience supporting and customizing Jira to meet the needs of diverse groups of developers.

• A developer with an agile-first approach and deep empathy for developers and engineering teams.

• Hands-on experience with web technologies, such as RESTful APIs, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON, and Oauth.

• Source code management using GitHub or Stash or similar.

• Prior experience in the development of Enterprise-wide custom applications that integrate with SaaS ERP vendors like Workday, ServiceNow, and Zuora.

• Ability to work in a multifaceted environment, working closely with multi-functional groups to clarify requirements and handle risks.

Tu experiencia:

• Licenciatura en informática o equivalente.

• Más de 3 años de experiencia apoyando y personalizando Jira para satisfacer las necesidades de diversos grupos de desarrolladores.

• Un desarrollador con un enfoque ágil y una profunda empatía por los desarrolladores y los equipos de ingeniería.

• Experiencia práctica con tecnologías web, como API RESTful, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JSON y Oauth.

• Gestión de código fuente mediante GitHub o Stash o similar.

• Experiencia previa en el desarrollo de aplicaciones personalizadas para toda la empresa que se integran con proveedores de ERP SaaS como Workday, ServiceNow y Zuora.

• Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno multifacético, trabajando en estrecha colaboración con grupos multifuncionales para aclarar los requisitos y manejar riesgos.
