Computer User Support Specialists - Junior

• Description:

ShadowObjects, LLC is currently looking to staff for Computer User Support Specialists - Junior level, to provide support to NAVAIR Enterprise Service Desk.

• JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
•

-Individuals will be working within a high call volume support desk. Calls will exceed over 200+ a day for this 24 hour a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year working environment. Individuals will be required to answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients via telephone or electronic means.

-Individuals filling this position may provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software (printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems).

-Individuals will serve as the entry point for customers by receiving, recording, resolving and / or escalating requests for service that enter the service desk.

-Individuals will be responsible for following all documented processes and procedures related to call handling, call escalation, data capturing, ticket closure and follow-up procedures.

-Individuals will also be responsible for communicating with customers to provide ticket status, ticket feedback, or general information regarding their request, or inquiry, for service.

-Individuals filling this position should have the ability to work in a high paced call center, where the ability to multi-task is important.

- Candidates will be asked to think out of the box often times during calls to ensure proper customer satisfaction is met. No two calls will be alike and often times, candidates will be required to adapt during the call, meaning the ability to think and problem solve independently is important.

- Ideal candidates for this position will have the ability to cover any shift at any time. Since the Service Desk operates on a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week business model, shifts vary throughout to ensure coverage at all times of the day.

-Candidates may be required to work holidays, as needed, to ensure coverage is met during these times.

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
•

A Junior level person within a labor category has less than three (3) years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and High School Diploma. A Junior level person is responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.

• SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•

Currently holds or the ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance is required. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
