We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading provider of merchant services, seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their team in Downers Grove, IL. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting existing customers-communicating fluently in both English and Spanish-and addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues related to merchant service products. This is a non-sales position focused entirely on providing top-tier customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, in both English and Spanish.
Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to POS products and services.
Document customer interactions and follow up to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve complex customer concerns.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the client's products and services to provide accurate support.
Communicate effectively with a diverse customer base, ensuring clear and accurate assistance in both languages.
Handle customer complaints with empathy and ensure efficient resolution.
Maintain customer records and update account information as necessary.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in customer service are a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role preferred.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in using customer service software, databases, and tools.
Friendly and professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
