KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• LEAD AND INSPIRE:Manage and motivate a team of 40 employees, Monday Friday.
• DRIVE PRODUCTIVITY:Ensure high levels of employee productivity and facility safety, collaborating effectively with other managers and supervisors.
• EXCEED STANDARDS:Maintain and surpass production standards for efficiency, material waste, and quality.
• OPTIMIZE COSTS:Implement cost and operational improvements to produce and ship the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost.
• STRATEGIC PLANNING:Develop and execute the Capital Plan to ensure our capacity meets demand.
• ENGAGEMENT AND DIRECTION:Foster a culture of engagement and set a clear strategic direction for your team.
• SAFETY LEADERSHIP:Lead health, safety, and environmental processes across the entire facility.
• CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, and similar principles.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:A BA/BS degree in Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• EXPERIENCE:3-7+ years in a metal fabrication manufacturing setting is required
• PROVEN SUCCESS:Demonstrated ability to understand yields, manage labor, and drive efficiencies; experience with tracking systems is preferred.
• ADAPTABILITY:Flexibility and capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, utilizing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
