Job Summary
Crowell & Moring LLP seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its Patents practice group, working from the Chicago, IL office.
Qualifications
Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of patent law experience (including Patent Agent experience).
A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Sciences, or Physics is required and a Master's degree or Ph.D.
in a similar field is a plus.
All qualified candidates must have a valid USPTO Registration number, be able to efficiently manage a busy patent prosecution docket, and have excellent academic and professional credentials as well as highly developed writing and analytical skills.
Some experience with patent litigation and Patent Trial and Appeal Board proceedings is preferred.
Mandarin language skills are also preferred.

Candidates must be a member of the Illinois Bar.
Additional Information
Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance to applicable laws.
The salary range for this position is $240,000 to $305,000.
Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus.
Other benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, and all-purpose leave.
The salary for this position may vary based on market data, an applicant's skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
