HBM System Data Software Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc.

As a System Data Software Engineer in the HBM team, we support the development of System-level Test software used for validating leading-edge High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM)-based products Our Team specializes in software development, operating system support, user support, account and permission management, database administration, and the performance management, security, monitoring and tuning of systems.
We work to ensure solutions improve product and system business requirements Responsibilities + Develop, diagnose, and validate High Bandwidth Memory System testing scripts & in-house system storage solutions.
• Evaluate equipment and hardware needs for software optimization.
• Identify and validate HBM System Lab software and testing flows.
• Define, develop, implement, and maintain validation testing scripts and data collection.
• Improve efficiency, reporting, and visualization of validation data and results.
• Work with engineering teams to provide technical solutions for validation data collection and reporting.
• Ensure scripts, tools, databases, and reporting tools meet or exceed team expectations.
Successful candidates will have, but not limited to:
+ Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience or Master's Degree with 2-3 years of experience, both with a balance of both hardware and software skills.
• Comfortable working and programming with Linux, Python, SQL , version control systems (git) and remote development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Good data analytics and presentation skills.
• Basic understanding of DRAM operations and computer networking.
• Self-motivation and passion.
Successful candidates suggested to have, but not required:
+ Understanding of system architectures.
• Programming experience with C/C+.
• Experience with virtualization (Docker, conda), cloud platforms (GCP) and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning/AI and Data Science.
• Previous experience validating products with hardware/firmware/software components.
