Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

• 12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Bi-weekly orientation dates

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Acute Rehabilitation - Stroke, etc, General Medical

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Areas of Float Support: Med Surg areas only - 4A, 5A

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

You will not interview with the hiring manager if the facility chooses to extend an offer to you for this position. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear 'Yes' or 'No' response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 12/25/2025, 12/24/2025, 12/26/2025, 11/28/2025, 01/01/2025, 12/31/2025, 11/27/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
